Laura and Kenny first met during freshman orientation weekend at the University of Notre Dame. Within a few months their love story was set in motion when they began dating. Seven years later, after becoming engaged, they began planning their wedding where it all began. With a deep love of Notre Dame’s campus, they wanted their flowers and decor to compliment the already beautiful Basilica of the Sacred Heart and Morris Inn. They selected on a color palette of cobalt blue, soft coral and ivory, with added touches of personality throughout the wedding to make it unique to them. Knowing that their friends and family would be traveling long distances to attend, they created a weekend that that everyone would enjoy and feel welcomed. Their wish was for an atmosphere of love and joy, to see everyone smiling and excited, that above all, the wedding be a reflection of their love for one another. Once the big day finally arrived, guests gathered inside the Basilica as Laura and her Father rode there in a horse drawn carriage, that would later take the newlyweds to portrait locations around campus. Following their 11:00 am ceremony, guests enjoyed lunch at the Eck Center, after which, tours of the campus were offered. Cocktail hour began in the pre-function area just outside of the Mary Ann Smith Ballroom, dinner and dancing soon followed. After the reception, everyone gathered at Rohr’s Irish Pub for an after party of pizza and happy conversation. Kenny and Laura ended their wedding weekend with a farewell brunch and wishes from their guests for the very best as they embark on this new chapter of their lives together.

It’s always a roll of the dice weather wise when planning a wedding in northern Indiana during the month of November. Will there be snow on the ground, will it be rainy, windy and cold? Or maybe, just maybe it will be a gloriously sunny day with mild temps, which is just what the weather decided to give Kate and Alejandro on their wedding day. The trees on the campus of the University of Notre Dame still wore their gorgeous fall colors and the grounds were still lush and green as guests gathered there to celebrate Kate and Alejandro’s marriage. The couple decided to host a gathering on Friday evening following their rehearsal at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, at Rohr’s inside the Morris Inn. The Irish pub was the perfect place to kick off the weekend festivities with family and friends. Once the big day finally arrived there was an unmistakable air of joy and anticipation to finally see all of their carefully laid plans unfold. Kate had decided on a color palette using shades of coral and pink with accents of navy and gold. Both she and her groom decided early in the planning they wanted an elegant but understated affair, with hints of glamour splashed throughout. Following the ceremony, the guests were transported to the South Bend Club for dinner and dancing. Kate and Alejandro sat at a sweetheart table for two, beside the beautifully appointed fireplace that chased the November chill away. As the evening drew to a close – a decadent dessert table was revealed providing a sweet ending to their perfect day.

Morgan and Colin’s love story began during their senior year of college, she a student at Saint Mary’s College, and he at the University of Notre Dame. Upon their engagement, it was all but a foregone conclusion that they would choose to marry at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, on Notre Dame’s campus. They wanted a wedding that was formal, traditional and classically elegant that included many meaningful details. Beginning with a color palette of deep emerald, gold, blush and ivory their vision began to take shape, resulting in a celebration that truly reflected their love of family, Notre Dame, and each other. Their reception was held in the historic Palais Royale in downtown South Bend, IN. Among the many details that graced the reception were custom monogrammed guest napkins, peach scented candles as a nod to Morgan’s Atlanta roots, and Colin’s grooms cake which replicated the marquee on the legendary ballpark of the Chicago Cubs in his hometown of Chicago. The grooms beloved Cubs would go on, a few weeks later, to win the 2016 World Series! After a night of dining and dancing, a 1950 Studebaker Land Cruiser waited at the corner as guests sent the couple off into their happily ever after with a sparkler farewell. The evening was capped off with an after party at Rohr’s inside the Morris Inn, back on the campus of Notre Dame.

Elizabeth and Daniel envisioned their June wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, on the campus of the University of Notre Dame as a soft, romantic summer affair. The color palette they chose. blush pink, soft gold and ivory was the perfect combination of colors to achieve the feel they wanted. Elizabeth’s favorite flower, the rose, was used throughout the wedding, in tones ranging from barely blush to a soft peachy pink, often accented with gorgeous peony (which lucky for us – was in full bloom!) and hydrangea. An array of candlelight helped give the atmosphere a dreamy, intimate feel. As a nod to the groom’s roots and a beloved Youngstown, OH tradition, a cookie table offered guests sweets and treats, most of them baked and brought to the wedding by family and guests. The day was gorgeously sunny, followed by a warm and balmy summer evening, the sky filled with glittering stars.

Marrying in November, JB and Christine were blessed to have a gorgeously sunny, warm day for their wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. The trees on campus were ablaze in all their fall glory, the leaves on the ground rustling in the light wind as family and guests gathered for their ceremony. Guests were given Kleenex packets labeled ‘There is no crying in baseball’ as they entered the Basilica, as a nod to the groom, a professional major league baseball player. Christine chose to have her bridesmaids in a deep ruby color with everything else to in tones of ivory, white, gold and champagne – and pearls, lots and lots of pearls.
Sweet flower girls in full, organza tulle ballerina skirts.
Pausing at The Grotto to light candles and offer a prayer just after the ceremony.
Guests found their escort card hanging from gold manzanita trees dripping with strand after strand of creamy pearls.
One of three centerpiece designs, using gold manzanita, pearl and floral in lush ivory and white.
A view of the stunning head table.
The second centerpiece, design, using pearl and lush ivory and white floral with the addition of candlelight.
A bagpiper closed the reception by leading the bride, groom and remaining guests out of the ballroom and to the front entrance of the Morris Inn, where Christine threw her bouquet and they bid their guests good night.
